§ 62-126. Recording of certified survey map.

  • Following approval by the village, a certified survey map of not more than four parcels of land may be recorded in the office of the register of deeds if such certified survey map meets the following requirements:

    (1)

    Registered land surveyor. The survey has been performed and the map prepared by a registered land surveyor.

    (2)

    Monuments. All corners have been monumented in accordance with Wis. Stats. § 236.15(1)(c), (d).

    (3)

    Maps. The map shall be prepared in accordance with Wis. Stats. § 236.20(2)(a), (b), (c), (e), (f), (g), (i), (j) and (k) on durable white paper eight and one-half inches wide by 14 inches long. All lines shall be made with nonfading black ink on a scale of not more than 100 feet to an inch.

    (4)

    Certificates and description. The certified survey map shall include the certificate of the registered land surveyor who surveyed and mapped the parcel including a clear and concise description of the land surveyed by bearings and distances, commencing with some corner marked and established in the government survey.

    (5)

    Compliance with all requirements of this chapter and Wis. Stats. ch. 236.
