§ 70-62. All-night parking.

  • (a)

    Prohibited generally. No person, except physicians on emergency calls, shall park any vehicle for longer than 30 minutes between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. of any day on any of the streets within the village.

    (b)

    Special parking permit. Overnight parking on the streets of the village will be allowed if good cause exists therefor by making application to the chief of police of the village or his department and by paying the sum of $4.00 per month for such permit. The person receiving a permit shall park his vehicle only on the site determined in advance by the chief of police. The chief of police shall determine what constitutes a good cause. Such permit must be exhibited on such vehicle in a conspicuous place fastened securely inside the windshield facing out.
